Live Watercolor Guest Portraits
Watercolor guest portraits/illustrations are a unique and memorable guest favor that add an artistic touch to your event!
Perfect for weddings, bridal showers, grand openings, birthday parties and more!
How It Works
My assistant and I will set up a station where guests can come by and get their picture taken. They can go back and enjoy the party (or watch me paint if they want!) while I create a watercolor portrait of them. As I complete portraits, they will be laid out on the table for guests to come back and pick them up throughout the night.
Included in every live painting booking:
- Live painting of portraits on 5x7 watercolor paper
- Off-site painting for any portraits remaining after the event
- [For weddings] Off-site painting of a detailed portrait of the married couple

FAQs
Where are you based?
- I am based in Seattle, WA and can drive up to 1 hour from the city.
Do you travel?
- Currently, I'm able to travel to the Bay Area for a travel fee. Other locations have limited availability — please reach out for more details!
What do you need for your set up?
- We will need 1 table and 2 chairs provided. We'll arrive 30-45 mins before the event to get all set up!
Are there restrictions to the portraits?
- In order to accommodate as many guests as possible, we generally limit each portrait to 3 people and one portrait per party.
How many portraits will you finish live?
- I aim to finish an average of 5 portraits per hour (8-12 people), depending on the number of people in the illustration.
Will all of the portraits be finished by the end of the event?
- More often than not, there will be portraits that cannot be completed by the end of the night. However, any remaining portraits that have not been finished will be completed off-site and mailed to you following the event, at no additional cost.
How much does it cost?
Prices are by guest count:
<50 guests (up to 3 hours of live painting) ......... $1,600
50-<75 guests (up to 4 hours of live painting) ......... $1,900
75-<100 guests (up to 5 hours of live painting) ......... $2,200
100-<125 guests (up to 5 hours of live painting) ......... $2,500
125-<150 guests (up to 5 hours of live painting) ......... $2,900
Unfortunately, I do not take events larger than 150 guests.
Can you paint portraits prior to my event? Or after my event?
- Yes! Some couples opt to not have live painting (or, if I'm not available on your date) and would rather have the portraits ready to use at the event as place cards or guest favors. Other couples want to have all the portraits painted after the event to include with their thank you cards.
